“FOR EVEN THE SON OF MAN DID NOT COME TO BE SERVED, BUT TO SERVE …”
God is clearly calling us to not just serve abroad but also to serve in our own neighborhoods.
Outreach at DC3 is focused on mobilizing the body of Christ to get involved in their community.
One of the greatest commands Jesus gave in the New Testament was to love your neighbor as yourself. The heart to serve comes from our Christ-like love for those around us. When you get connected to a local outreach opportunity, you get to use your God-given talents to change lives.
We partner with local ministries that help women and children in shelters, assist single moms and the elderly, meet the needs of those affected by crisis and natural disaster.
One of the greatest ways to worship God is to serve His people. Now is the time to put your faith in action and get connected to a local outreach opportunity.
Missions is more than just a one-time event or an experience; rather missions is a lifestyle. This means that in our homes, neighborhoods, schools, work places and in every other area of our lives, we are to carry ourselves as ministers of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:18-20; 1 Peter 2:4-9). The goal of a minister of reconciliation is to restore man and creation to a right relationship with the Lord. The primary way we serve our city is through each of our members engaging all areas of their lives with purpose and intentionality as God has called them.
