“For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve…”

Matthew 20:28

At DC3, we value generosity and that is displayed through our Outreach opportunities with the stewardship of our time, treasure and talents.  We exist to serve our local community as well as have a heart for global missions.  We desire to meet the felt and practical needs of those who are underserved and under-resourced but most importantly share the Good News & hope of Jesus Christ. DC3 Outreach exists in 2 main veins:

DC3 Local Outreach

  1. Partners with local organizations that share our same heart and mission so that we can accomplish more.

  2. Organizes & participates in annual events that allow us the opportunity to reach people who may never step inside a church.

DC3 Global Outreach

  1. Organizes missions trips throughout the year.

  2. Supports a variety of missionaries around the world.

Community Events

What is Feed the Harbor?

Feed the Harbor is a one day opportunity for all the churches of Charlotte County to come together and fill the local food pantries while providing the community with a picture of what it means for Christ-followers to be the "hands and feet of Jesus."

How does it work?

*Local food pantries provide a list of their most desired non-perishable food items.

*Local Churches distribute copies of this list to their congregations on the Sunday morning of the event, instructing shoppers to purchase  according to their personal ability and desire.

*"Shoppers" take their lists and head to local designated shopping site  * Volunteers will sort the food and assist food pantry staff to load their vehicles for distribution.
