2024 Missions opportunities
Honduras 2024
Dates: July 8th-14th
Information Meeting: High School Students Nov 8th 8:15pm, Adults December 3rd at 1:15pm in portable 2.
Organization: The Garden Mission, Kevin and Cynthia Johnson
What’s to be expected: We will be joining The Garden Mission’s weekly ministry, in their village and surrounding villages. This includes, farming, cooking, leading bible studies and worship, as well as developing relationships. You will be exposed to extreme poverty and a culture that is very different than our own.
Guatemala
Information Meeting: December 10th, 1:15pm in portable 2
Organization: Casa Aleluya
What’s to be expected: We will be staying at Casa Aleluya children’s home and also ministering to the surrounding villages. We will be exposed to extreme poverty and children that have been abused physically and sexually.
Global Missions
Peter and Jana Kozic - Czech Republic
Peter and Jana are Assembly of God World Missionaries currently serving in the Czech Republic. From their newsletter sent in October 2020, they shared, “Peter and I fully believe it is important and significant to keep count of all the people we lead to Jesus Christ. Therefore, with God’s help we happily rejoice for the 90 people we have led to Jesus this year. Jesus said, ‘I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents’ (Luke 15:10)."... God is changing lives!”
